A song to our higher selves, to tend to the inner fire of wisdom - the jnana aruna. Located in Tamil Nadu in India, the mountain Arunachala is often said to be a physical manifestation of Shiva himself in the form of agni (fire.)

There are many wonderful stories from the yogic traditions of how this mountain came to be named, but the one which resonates deeply for me is how - in a great egoic battle between Vishnu & Brahma - Shiva came to light a fire on the top of Arunachala to act as an eternal symbol of checking our egos, centring back into our higher wisdom.
